The Beast  KitaA member of an extra-terrestrial species, standing at 6'6 with a bulky, muscular build, dark-red, leathery skin, and piercing grey eyes. His face is dominated by three rows of sharp teeth that are partially retracted when he is calm, but stand out more when emotional or furious. His head is topped by a mane of shaggy black hair. Banned from his home planet for a murder he did not commit and held captive and experimented on at Raveney Manor, he is almost broken. But under the shell of the ferocious beast sleeps a way more intelligent mind than he lets on. |

Lord Raveney
Joanna's father. A neat, slender man in his mid 50s, standing at 5'7 with accurately trimmed, graying, brown hair and mustache, warm brown eyes, circular-shaped glasses and the overall appearance of a gentleman.
Lord Raveney is mainly a salesman who is rarely home due to business in the city and thus never spent much time with his daughter and barely knows her. But he has also gathered interest in science and natural philosophy and plans a publication on a new species he has discovered.

A thuggish, bulky man standing at 6'1, with streaks of greasy, black hair that is reaching down to his shoulders, dark brown, almost black eyes, and an unkempt appearance. Owen is one of the servants of Raveney Manor, mainly assigned to take care and feed the captive beast and assist Lord Raveney with his experiments. A drunkard and sadistic bastard.

Nelly A merry woman in her end 40s, standing at 5'5, with brown hair with slight gray streaks that she keeps done in a bun,kind, blue eyes and almost always rosy cheeks. Originally assigned as Joanna's nanny after she was born, she just stayed and continued raising the girl after her mother had died and is her maid and motherly friend to the present day. Too good-hearted to be the strict tutor she'd sometimes need to be.
